Dr. Tom Hansen, M.D., CEO of Seattle Children's Hospital, is the speaker for the  September Membership Luncheon of the Mercer Island Chamber of Commerce.

Children's Hospital cares for children regardless of race, religion, gender or a family's ability to pay.  It celebrated its 100-year anniversary in 2007 and U.S. News & World Report ranks it as the ninth best children's hospital in the country.  It also serves as the pediatric referral center for Washington, Alaska, Montana and Idaho.  Dr. Hansen was named CEO in 2005.  A new research facility is under construction in the Lake Union area which will give giving staff more space than is currently available at the Hospital.

If you know someone who has a connection to Children's through a child, a guild or just admires the outstanding work they do there, please invite them to this event.  Great things are happening at Children's.
